Video Consultation
Our office is happy to offer the option of teleconsultation prior to certain procedures. Similar to an in-person exam, this initial appointment will allow you to meet with your oral surgeon. He will perform a consultation, go over your medications and health history with you, review your x-rays, and explain your diagnosis and treatment options. Any necessary surgery can then be scheduled for a future date.
Teleconsultation requires a strong WIFI signal and use of a smartphone, tablet, or a computer with a webcam and microphone.
All patients under the age of 18 years of age must be joined on this teleconference by their parent or guardian.
Prior to scheduling a teleconsultation, we must have a referral and current panorex x-ray from your dentist, which they may email to [email protected]. We also need you to fill out your patient registration forms here. Please be sure to include your email address.
When those things are done, please give our office a call to schedule!
The teleconsultation visit takes place using a platform called 3CX (similar to a Zoom meeting). Prior to your appointment, please watch for an email from 3CX with a link to your meeting. Be sure to check your junk mail.
Be advised that our automated confirmation text messages may list your appointment as being at our Medford or Grants Pass location. However, if you were told your visit is a virtual teleconsultation, you do not need to come to the office in person.
